BackpackBuddy connects through Google's official OAuth, we never see your password. We don't keep your emails: we scan for the homework and event details, save those to your account so we can build your calendar and digest, and discard the message content. The extraction itself runs on Anthropic's Claude AI, which processes the email content to do the job and, under Anthropic's current API terms, doesn't use your data to train AI models.
